Who is Tridor ?
Tridor is a premier provider of bandwidth and telecommunications
infrastructure, and offers customized solutions to deliver secure and stable
bandwidth to handle all of our customers' internet, data, voice and video needs.
Who are Tridor's investors ?
Tridor is privately funded and supported by a group of Singapore businessmen
and angel investors involved in related businesses of information technology
and telecommunications.
What is the relationship between Tridor and Davnet ?
Tridor acquired the businesses of Davnet in Singapore in October 2001, while Davnet
continues to focus on their business in Australia. This acquisition allows customers of Davnet
Singapore to continue to enjoy the services they are currently subscribed to, while
looking forward to greater value-added services from Tridor.
What can the Davnet customer expect from Tridor ?
In addition to Davnet's original offerings, Tridor expands its services to
include the following:
- Broadband access (local and international)
- IDC Solutions (VPN, Co-location, Web Hosting, Email)
- IP Telephony (Tridor VOIP) & IP Devices
- Intranet (Corporate Portal, Firewall, Content filtering, Knowledge Management)
- Video Streaming
- Network Cabling and Integration
I am a customer of Davnet Singapore. What do I need to do?
The terms of the current Service Agreement allows Davnet to re-assign
service to another service provider. Customer of Davnet need not do anything
except to re-direct monthly payment to the new service provider owner, Tridor
Pte Ltd effective from Sep 2001's billings. A separate letter explaining this
new arrangement has been sent to all Customers.
I am a customer of Davnet Singapore. What if I want to
terminate the service?
Tridor would definitely want to retain you as a valued customer and would like
to assure you that the services being provided by Davnet previously will not be
degraded nor will there be any changes in contract terms.
Who else can enjoy Tridor's services?
Tridor has acquired the network infrastructure assets of Davnet (Singapore)
and now has the largest In-Building Ethernet (IBE) Broadband network in Singapore
covering buildings such as UOB Plaza I and II, Suntec Tower 1-5, Republic Plaza
1 & 2, Raffles City Tower, Temasek Tower, Shaw House, Shaw Center, MCL Land,
Standard Chartered Building, Concourse Building and more. The tenants of
these building can subscribe to Tridor's broadband services and have the benefits of
IBE facilities.
Tenants of other buildings can obtain high-speed Internet access through leased
line arrangements that connect directly to Tridor's data centre, at competitive
prices.
What other services does Tridor offer?
As a one-stop service provider, Tridor provides a single point of contact for
all customer care and support matters and single billing for all services,
including third-party services delivered through TIN.
Who are Tridor's service and technology partners?
Our service and technology partners include:
- AsiaIP & MCI Worldcom: This combination offers end-to-end VOIP services
- eBDesk: Online service provider of portal-based groupware, SMS, workflow and collaboration tools
- KZones: Online service provider of document management and knowledge management tools
- Tranxacta: Provider of enterprise portal solutions, such as Corporate
Yahoo!, Inktomi, Netegrity and Citrix.
- Yahoo!, SUN Microsystems, Cisco, Citrix
What makes Tridor's services different from other service providers?
The Tridor Intelligent Network (TIN) enables a new breed of e-business applications
by introducing new levels of control, speed, reliability and quality demanded by
broadband applications. The TIN unique design facilitates fast and secure broadband
delivery - using our own In-Building Ethernet (IBE) Broadband Operating System,

Tridor do for me?
Tridor adds value to your building by providing tenants with broadband access and
related services. As high-speed Internet access becomes more of a necessity than a luxury,
the demand for "intelligent buildings" will increase. Developers of office property,
in particular, will find a differentiating factor and competitive advantage if they
can also offer broadband access and services.
How can Tridor help my company address cost issues,
or be more competitive?
The Tridor Intelligent Network architecture ensures that as your business changes
and grows, our network keeps pace with you. Our customers enjoy bandwidth on-demand
for short-term needs, such as video conferencing -- without requiring you to sign

customers that have more stringent availability requirements. In addition to
standard Internet Data Services such as web and mail hosting, Tridor offers
broadband services, such as VoIP and network antivirus scanning. Tridor also works with
third-party software and system integration companies to provide solutions to
businesses, but with single billing, you only have to interface with one vendor.

Broadband Access - How can I be assured of the performance
of the Tridor Network?
Tridor is bounded by the stringent performance parameters set by IDA as a
Facilities Based Operator (FBO) in Singapore. Tridor adheres closely to
these parameters and continues to provide and improve on the quality of service
previously enjoyed by Davnet's customers.
VOIP - How can Tridor VOIP help my business?
Tridor VOIP drastically reduces your IDD call charges. Our innovative Tridor
VOIP program allows Customers to cap their international call charges at a level
