About the Seminar
Security Seminar 2002, organized by Novell, iSentry and Tridor was held on 23 July 2002 at Novell's office in Suntec City. The seminar's theme was enterprise security which encompassed network security and identity management, two aspects of this important field.

Identity Management - presented by Nigel Stewart, Novell, Inc.
Providing new employees with secure access to applications when they join the company, and revoking access rights to ex-employees that leave can be a difficult process to coordinate, especially in companies with sophisticated IT infrastructures. Novell has software solutions that can help ease the pain for system administrators and IT department heads.

Network Security - presented by Remko Jacobs, I-Sentry Solutions, Inc.
Network security means more than just installing a firewall in your network. It is a process that involves auditing of current IT assets and practices and formulating a plan and a security policy to protect the enterprise network from intrusion and attacks.
